Deuterium lamp (D₂ lamp) is the core light source for HPLC UV detectors and DAD/PDA diode array detectors. It directly affects baseline stability, signal-to-noise ratio and reliability of analytical data, widely adopted in pharmaceutical, food, environmental and chemical laboratories for qualitative and quantitative analysis.
BIKAI deuterium lamps are engineered for mainstream HPLC instruments. The mechanical interface, electrical pin assignment and optical alignment are fully consistent with original OEM lamps. No instrument modification is required, plug-and-play for Shimadzu, Agilent, Waters and Hitachi HPLC systems.
- Agilent: 1100/1200/1220/1260 VWD/DAD detector, Part No. BK82010100, OEM reference G1314-60100
- Shimadzu: SPD-10A, SPD-20A, SPD-M30A, LC-2050, Part No. BK82002050 / BK82020281, OEM 228 series
- Waters: 2487,2489,2998 detector, compatible with 2695 HPLC system, Part No. BK82020281
- Hitachi: Primaide VWD/DAD detector, Part No. BK81021500
BIKAI D2 lamp provides continuous UV spectrum from 190–400 nm. Rated average lifetime is 2000 hours. After 30-min warm-up, light drift ≤ ±0.5%/h and peak-to-peak ripple is 0.1%. Featuring low noise and high radiant intensity, it maintains good sensitivity at low UV wavelength, fully meets strict test requirements of pharmacopoeia and national standards, as a cost-effective alternative to OEM lamps.
Notes: Warm up the lamp for 30 minutes after ignition. Frequent power on/off should be avoided to slow down light decay. Clean lamp window periodically to extend service life.
